The course introduces general basics of aircraft system diagnostics. Part of the course includes the overview of sensors used in diagnostic and monitoring systems, data acquisition and sensors integration via Kalman filtering.

3. Flight data reckoning systems, data processing, types of medias
4. Requirements on the aircraft diagnostic and monitoring systems
5. Sensors used in a stationary and non-stationary airframe diagnostics
6. Sensors used for the engine diagnostics
7. Airworthiness and methods of sensors' calibration and testing
8. Avionic instrumentation diagnostics, air-condition and hydraulic systems diagnostics
9. Methods of diagnostic signals processing
10. Basic methods of adaptive filtration, Kalman filter - overview
11. Aircraft sensors subsystems modeling
12. Subsystems integration and its applications
13. Practical usage of Kalman filtration

Seminars are aimed on a practical usage of lectured topics, which also includes practical consideration of Kalman filters and a designing of subsystem models. Seminars also include excursions to ČSA (Flight Data Reckoning systems evaluation) and VZLÚ (static, dynamic and vibratory testing of aircraft systems).
