Subject „Digital communication technique“ deals with digital subsystems in communication and ranging systems. Undergraduates acquire knowledge about implementation of the digital signal processing in communications and radar as digital coding, modulation, error correction, synchronisation for communication and ranging.

1. Introduction, communication's chain, digitising its circuits, necessary performance
2. Baseband, IF and RF signal digitising, ADC, DAC features
3. Architecture of the high speed A/D, increasing it's performance
4. Communication and ranging systems digital technology based on DSP and CPU
5. Digital filters DSP implementation
6. Effective implementation by reducing and increasing of the sampling rate
7. Increasing of computational performance, parallel implementation
8. Implementation circuits in IF and RF band by programmable logic
9. Channel Code/Decode, error correction and equalisation implementation
10. Digital frequency synthesis, modification for modulation
11. Composite codes generators. Gold and JPL codes
12. Baseband, IF and RF signals processing. Modulation, demodulation
13. GSM, GPS and cellular PCS chipsets, features and applications
14. Architecture of the digital receivers
