Synopsis:

Principles, technical performance and utilization of methods of chemical analysis. Methodology of analytical determination, gravimetry, titration methods, potentiometry, polarography, refractometry, polarimetry, UV-VIS spectroscopy, atomic emission and absorption spectroscopy, infrared and Raman spectroscopy, X-ray structural analysis, nuclear magnetic and electron spin resonance, mass spectrometry, thermometric methods, gas and liquid chromatography, analytical data processing, chemometry

Syllabus of lectures:

1.Principle, realisation and use of chemical analytical methods. Methodology of determination.

2.Classic methods: Gravimetry, titration methods.

3.Electrochemical methods: potenciometry, polarography, voltametry, coulometry.

4. Refractometry, polarimetry.

5. Lambert-Beer law, coulorimetry, UV-VIS spectroscopy.

6. Atomic emission and absorption spektroscopy.

7. Vibrational spectra, IR and Raman spectroscopy.

8. Roentgen structural analysis, nuclear magnetic and electron spin resonance.

9. Mass spectrometry.

10. Thermometric methods,entalpiometry, thermogravimetry, differential thermal analysis.

11. Separation methods: extraction, gas and liquid chromatography, paper chromatography.

12.Treatment of analytical results, chemometrics.
