The goal of the lecture and the exercise is to learn students the basic knowledge from nuclear and particle physics. Students will improve their knowledge about the mass structure and they will see laws of microcosms, too.

4.Spin. Electromagnetic moments.
5.Hyperfine structure of the atomic spectra.
6.Nuclear forces and models of atomic nuclei.
7.Radioactivity. Radioactive decay chains.
8.Alpha decay. Beta decay. Gamma emission.
9.Nuclear reactions.
10.The compound nucleus hypthesis. Breit-Wigner formula.
11.Elementary theory of fission.
12.Fusion reaction.
13.Stellar nucleosynthesis. pp - chain, helium catalysed chains, CNO - chain.
14.Cosmic rays.
