Synopsis:

Special course of statistical physics focused on application in heavy ion physics. Summary of basics concepts of statistical physics, quantum statistics with focuse on ultrarelativistic boson, fermi and hagedorn gasses.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of thermodynamics and statistical physics.

2.Entropy and density matrix.

3.Quantum statistical ensambles

4.Relativistic fermi and boson gas

5.Ultrarelativistic boson gas.

6.Ultrarelativistický fermi gas.

7.Hadron gas.

8.Hagedorn gas..

9.Hadron bootstrap model.

10.Phase transitions in QGP.

11.Hydrodynamics.

12.Entropy in heavy ion collisions.
