Synopsis:

The goal of the lecture and the exercise is to learn students the basic knowledge from nuclear and particle physics. Students will improve their knowledge about the mass structure and they will see laws of microcosms, too.

Requirements:

Physical Laboratory 1,2; Experimental Physics 1,2

2. Subatomic structure, basic interactions and particles,

3. Discovering subatomic structure,

4. Basics of quantum description,

5. Antiparticles,

6. Leptons,quarks, hadrons,

7. Yukawa model of nuclear forces,

8. Symmetries and conservation laws,

9. Heavy quarks and an experimental road to their discovery,

10. Weak interactions,

11. Unification of electromagnetic and weak interaction,

12. Structure of the nucleon and partons ,

13. Strong interaction,

14. Quark model ,

15. Kinematics ,
