Synopsis:

Crystallography has an important role in the modern sciences because of its interdisciplinary nature.The aim of this lecture is to lay the basis of study of solid state physics.

Requirements:

Knowlege of fundamentals of solid state physics (1UFPL at FNSPE)

1. History of crystallography. ^^2. Symmetry elements. ^^3. Point groups. ^^4. Crystal systems. ^^5. Bravais lattices. ^^6. Reciprocal lattice. ^^7. Space groups. ^^8. Crystal structures. ^^9. Liquid crystals. ^^10. Physical properties of crystals.
