Synopsis:

The aim of the subject is to provide students with basics of the treated topics, namely of etiology and pathogenesis of diseases including genetic contiditional nature of some diseases. Regressive and progressive changes, hypertrophy, tumorous growth. Typical reactions of an organism: inflammation, system reaction, multi-organ affection. Necropsy, biopsy, autopsy. Pathophysiology of individual functional systems of human body. Methods for monitoring of vital functions. Pathological anatomy in oncology. Pathology of infectious diseases.

1. Etiology and pathogenesis of diseases. Relation of function and structure

2. Regressive and progressive changes, hypertrophy, tumorous growth

3. Genetic conditional nature of diseases

4. Inflammation. System reaction. Multi-organ affection

5. Monitoring of vital function

6. Necropsy, biopsy, autopsy

7. Pathophysiology of blood and blood circulation

8. Pathophysiology of load, influence of movement, immobilisation, sport

9. Pathophysiology of nervous system and kinetic apparatus

10. Disorder of inner conditions, kidney and hormonal regulations

11. Development and aging of organism. Atherosclerosis

12. Pathophysiology and pathology of pulmonary diseases, diseases of gastric system

13. Pathological anatomy in oncology

14. Pathology of infectious diseases
