This course deals with principles of solid state converter design, construction and production. The electrical and thermal design of converters, selection of power switching devices, design of drivers (power devices driving circuits) and their connection to controller, EMC problems, production technology and elaboration of technical reports are given in the lectures and seminars. Laboratory exercises are used to solve selected practical problems.
