Synopsis:

Solar energy. Photovoltaic phenomena. Solar cells and their characteristics. Monocrystalline, polycrystalline and amorphous solar cells. Construction and fabrication of high-efficiency solar cells. Solar batteries. Photovoltaic systems and their applications. Significance, economic and environmental aspects of solar energy exploitation.

6. Monocrystalline, polycrystalline and amorphous silicon solar cells

7. Solar cells from other semiconductor materials

8. Construction and fabrication of high-efficient solar cells

9. Construction and fabrication of solar batteries

10. Basic types of Photovoltaic systems

11. Conversion dc voltage of solar batteries to ac network voltage

12. Applications of Photovoltaic systems

13. Photoelectrochemical cells and batteries

14. Basic economic and ecological aspects
