Electric energy sources: transformer, rectifiers, separately excited, shunt and series DC generators. Separately excited, shunt and series DC motors. Squirrel-cage and wound-rotor induction motors. Synchronous machine. Stepper motor and universal series motor. Controlled small power drives. Interference effects of semiconductor converters in network. Switching and protection devices. Electric energy production and transmission.
