Synopsis:

In this course basic principles of simulation of the power supply system, airframe and engine monitoring system, navigation and radiocommunication systems are described. The course provides information on visualisation and control systems of simulators. The practical part of the courses takes place at the rented simulator UTL 28.

2. Basic simulator structure, simulation level

3. Aircraft power supply systems simulation

4. Airframe monitoring system simulation

5. Engine and engine control system simulation

6. Communication system simulation

7. RF navigation system simulation

8. Gyro and inertial systems simulation

9. Analog and digital data transmission for simulators

10. EFIS for simulators

11. FMS for simulators

12. Simulation of the visual situation

13. Moving platform and steerage forces realisation

14. New trends in simulators design

Syllabus of tutorials:

Laboratory exercises are in form of practical training at AN28 aircraft simulator and sport aircraft simulator. Exercises include excursions in L39 aircraft simulator.
