Synopsis:

Electrical and electronic measuring instruments, digital instruments, methods of measurement of electrical quantities (voltage, current, power, frequency, resistance, capacitance and inductance), basic magnetic measurements, basics of measurement systems and measurement of nonelectrical quantities.

2. Iron vane and electrodynamic meters. Converters I

3. DC and AC current and voltage measurements

4. Measurement of frequency and phase shift. ADCs and DACs

5. DVMs. Converters of electrical quantities II

6. Measurement of power and anergy (1- and 3-phase circuits)

7. Measurement of resistances: methods,instruments, converters

8. Mesurement of impedances and admittances (L-R, C-G)

9. Measurement of B, H, and magnetizing characteristics

10. Analogue oscilloscopes and recorders

11. Digital oscilloscopes, sampling methods of measurement

12. DMMs with ţPs, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers

13. Measurement systems (basic principles, usage)

14. Calibrators, measuring generators

2. Frequency dependence of AC voltmeters. Influence of form factor on meter readings

3. Voltage divider. Measuring amplifiers (low DC voltage)

4. Frequency and phase difference. Measuring rectifier

5. Measurement of low currents. Successive approximation ADC, logic analyzer

6. Dual slope DVM. Principle of signal sampling, DACs

7. One-phase active power. Three-phase power of imbalanced load

8. Wheatstone bridge. Test I

9. Measurement of low resistances. Digital impedance meter

10. Transformer bridge. Measurement of the leakage magnetic field of the transformer

11. Amplitude permeability. Static hysterezis loop

12. IEEE 488 measurement system. Test II
