Synopsis:

The subject is designated for students of the basic study, they can obtain the complex elementary knowledge of all the radioelectronics here. Its first part contains common questions of the radiocomm. followed by particular descr. of radioelectronic circuits. The third part is devoted to concepts of radio transmit. and receivers and the last part is devoted to comm. systems - radio and TV, mobile comm. syst., radar, etc.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Basics of radiocommunication, scheme and capacity of comm. system

2. Analogue modulation: amplitude, frequency and phase

3. Digital modulation in the base band and carrier frequency regions

4. Passive elements in radioelectronics and their circuit properties

5. Active elements in radioelectronics and their circuit properties

6. Narrow band and wide band high frequency amplifiers

7. Oscillators, mixers, demodulators and modulators, phase lock loop

8. Circuit concepts and properties of radio receivers

9. Circuit concepts and properties of radio transmitters

10. Terrestrial AM broadcasting, mono and stereo FM broadcasting

11. Monochromatic and colour television: NTSC, PAL, SECAM, HDTV

12. Satellite and optical broadcast of radio and television signal

13. Basic principles of mobile communication systems

14. Basic principles of radio location and radio navigation

Syllabus of tutorials:

1. Presentation of measuring the first three laboratory tasks

2. Measurement of the 1st task: parameters of radio receiver

3. Measurement of the 2nd task: transmission by optoelectronic cable

4. Measurement of the 3rd task: parameters of stereo coder

5. Presentation of measuring the other three laboratory tasks

6. Measurement of the 4th task: input and output resistances

7. Measurement of the 5th task: amplitude and phase characteristics

8. Measurement of the 6th task: resonance amplifier in A-B-C classes

9. Examples: capacity of communication channel, amplitude modulation

10. Examples: frequency modulation, noises, pre-emphasis - de-emphasis

11. Examples: discrete modulation PCM/PSK with carrier frequency

12. Examples: power adjustment, method of resonance, linear amplifiers

13. Examples: superhet - oscillator, mirror signal, double mixing

14. Examples: television - band width, NTSC, PAL, SECAM, satellite TV
