Synopsis:

Technical Acoustics deals with description of acoustic fields in gaseous, liquid and solid media, acoustic transmitters and receivers, transducers, waveguides and presents the introduction to room acoustics, technical audiology, electroacoustical measurements, engineering acoustics and noise and vibration. The subject brings the students the survey of knowledge in acoustics.

4. Acoustic transmitters and receivers for acoustic field in gases and liquids

5. Systems with lumped and distributed elements. Equivalent circuits

6. Theory of electroacoustic transducers

7. Fundamentals of architectural acoustics

8. Fundamental acoustic and electroacoustic measurements

9. Physiolgical acoustics. Technical audiology

10. Sound reinforcement

11. Vibrations and beats in damped mechanical systems

12. Noise and vibrations

13. Viscous effects and other dissipative processes in wave propagation

14. Nonlinear phenomena in wave propagation
