Synopsis:

Air traffic control services and their requirements on radio equipment. Overview of communication, navigation and radar technique. Air traffic control procedures. Student can use knowledge in aircraft industry and in civil and military aircraft operations.

7. Flights in area. Procedural and radar control

8. Approach procedures

9. Overview of radio navigation systems

10. Radar, surveillance, terminal area and airport radars

11. Conventional secondary radar

12. Secondary radar in S-mode. Automatic target tracking

13. Collision avoidance systems TCAS

14. Airborne radar

2. Organization of flights in air space A, B, C

3. Organization of flights in air space D, E, F, G

4. Segmentation of air space of Czech Republic

5. Air traffic services in area of Czech Republic

6. Classification of aircraft spacing without and under radar control in CR

7. Classifications of approaches within the airport Praha-Ruzyně

8. Excursion: test aircraft at Civil Aviation Authority

9. Set of rules for VFR, IFR, VMC and IMC flights

10. Arrangement and facilities of traffic services (TWR, APP, ACC)

11. Excursion: division of air traffic control and ATC simulators

12. Information resources arrangement (AIP, NOTAM, SNOWTAM)

13. Set of rules used by airport parts in case of low sight

14. Arrangement of collision avoidance systems in Czech Republic
