This subject presents inter-mediate course of the theory of prices. Using mainly solving of practical problems it informs students about some of microeconomic topics, for example: analysis of supply & demand, theory of consumers? rational decisions, cost analysis, theory of production, markets of factors of production, global equilibrium and welfare.

The goal of this course is to introduce students to logical thinking about economic problems and finding of connections among economic phenomena. Solving of problems should not only simplify rather complicated economic reality but serve at the same time as a starting point for a correct analysis of economic problems and as a mean for extrapolating correct conclusions from economic phenomena.
