Synopsis:

The lectures will be concentrated in the first four weeks, and devoted to IC design methodologies, CAD tools, description of available libraries and design rules. Methology of layout design, floor planing, extraction of parasitic capacities, postlayout simulations. The practices will have a form of a project. Students in groups will design an IC using industrial standard CAD tools (CADENCE, SYNOPSYS).
