The course is a substitute for:
Applications of Modern Devices (X34APS)
Lecturer:
Tutor:
Supervisor:
Department of Microelectronics
Synopsis:

The course should broaden and deepen the students' knowledge reached in previous courses regarding special aspects of electronic circuits and system solutions when applying advanced electronic devices. A particular emphasis is put on the interdependence between the internal physical phenomena in the device , its technological structure and its external electrical behavior from the point of view of optimization of the designed system at large. This includes, among others, a detailed discussion of the accuracy, stability and parasitic parameters of both common and special passive and active discrete and integrated devices, stressing the criteria for optimum device type choice.
