Synopsis:

The emphasis is on giving the student some fundamental principles behind the various techniques of analog filter design, design of delay lines, solving problems of delay equalisation. The attention is focused on the introduction digital signal filtering.

2. One-port LC and RC Synthesis

3. Frequency normalization, Low-Pass, High-Pass normalization

4. Maximally flat response Butterworth filters

5. Equiripple approximation, Chebyshev and Cauer filters

6. Constant group delay filters

7. Impedance scaling in LC Filter optimization

8. Inductorless filters, active RC filters

9. Active filters with operational amplifiers (OA), switch capacitors filters

10. OA in Low-Pass and High-Pass complementary Filter Design

11. All-pass sections, group delay equalization

12. Linear time invariant analog and digital systems

13. Transfer function of a digital filter

14. Fundamental structures of digital filters
