The course presents fundamentals of power systems. Students get information about the system structure, components and principles of the system behavior. Subject deals with the fundamentals of power plants, transmission and distribution systems, low voltage installations in residential buildings and industry, and fundamentals of Electric light and heat. The course deals with fundamentals of energy economy, with impact of energy sources on environment.
