Synopsis:

Steady state performance of electric machines supplied or loaded by asymmetrical and or non-sinusoidal conditions. Three-phase transformer, three-phase induction motor with capacitor on singel-phase net, torque pulsations, electric machines supplied by electronic converters, brushless DC machines, switch reluctance machines.

Requirements:
Syllabus of lectures:

1. DC machines supplied by voltage converters

2. Three-phase symetrical-components transformation

3. Unbalanced load of three-phase transformers

4. Magnetizing current of three-phase transformer, influence of the third harmonic comp.

5. Asinusoidal supply of three-phase transformer, magnetical core losses

6. Three-phase induction motor under asymmetrical supply, torque ripples

7. Three-phase induction motor on the single-phase net, capacitor determination

8. Magnetic field space harmonics, waves in the torque-speed characterisic

9. Induction motors supplied from the electronic converters

10. Synchronous generator with unbalanced load

11. Synchronous generator with a rectifier

12. Synchronous motor in stepping state

13. Brushless DC machines

14. Switch reluctance machines

2. Parameter determination of DC electric machine model

3. Maesurement on the DC machine supplied from a voltage converter

4. Parameter determination of the three-phase transformer model

5. Measurement a the three-phase transformer under unbalanced load

6. Three-phase induction motor model parameter determination

7. Measurement of a three-phase induction motor on the single-phase net with capacitor

8. Synchronous machine model parameter determination

9. Measurement of a non-symmetrical short circuit state on a synchronous generator

10. Parameter determination of a synchronous generator with PM

11. Measurement on a synchronous generator with PM and rectifier

12. Simulation brushless DC motors on a PC

13. Simulation switch reluctance motors on a PC

14. Measurement corrections, student tasks evaluation
