Typical stress of electric apparatus applied in electric drives. Motor outlet protection. Applications of fuses, circuit breakers and contactors. Basic properties of protection devices. Switching over-voltage, limiting elements. Interrupting of short circuit currents. Power circuit breakers: vacuum, SF6, oil etc. Low voltage instalation. Planning and dimension design of switching instalation. Circuit breakers testing.
