Synopsis:

Fundamental laws of electromechanical energy conversion forces and torques of electromechanical systems, mathematical models of electric machines for dynamic processes, mathematical methods of solution, general theory of rotating electric machines, parameters of mathematical models and their determination, simulation on PC, solution of appointed problems.

1. Mathematical models of electric machines

2. Linear transformation of electric machine voltage equations

3. Transformation of the synchronous machine equations

4. Transformation of the induction machine equations

5. Generalized electric machine as a model for dynamic processes

6. Transient analysis of a three-winding transformer

7. Transient analysis without zero initial conditions

8. Transfer function, transient impedances

9. Constant magnetic flux as assumption for solution of dynamic processes

10. Analytical solution of transient process equations

11. Synchronous machine oscilations

12. Synchronous generator Short circuit test

13. Commutation of the AC machines supplied from the electronic converters

14. Transient process on electric machines supplied from the electronic converter

5. Modelling of synchronous generator by generalized electric machine

6. Parameter determination of DC machine

7. Transient process of DC machine during connection to the net

8. Parameter determination of an induction motor model

9. Transient process of an induction motor during switching off

10. Synchronous machine parameter determination

11. Synchronous machine oscillations

12. Synchronous machine Short circuit test

13. Parameter determination of the synchronous generator from the oscillogram

14. Measurement corrections, evaluation of student tasks
