Synopsis:

This program is intended primarily as a preparation for the operation of and work on electrical equipment and installations according to the requirements of Czech standards. After written examination the students receive qualification of instructed persons (Notice No. 50/78), which is necessary for the work in laboratories. Integral part of qualification requirements are basic training guidelines for Health and Occupational Safety.

1. Basic training guidelines for Health and Occupational Safety.

2. Basic electrotechnical standards. Qualification of persons, Notice No. 50/78

3 Effect of current passing through the human body.

4. Protection against direct contact.

5. Protection against indirect contact.

6. Classification of electrical and electronic equipment.

7. Protection by automatic disconnection of supply.

8. Main equipotential bonding. Supplementary equipotential bonding.

9. Construction of electrical installation and equipment.

10. Safety symbols and safety identification for use on electrical equipment.

11. External influence, electromagnetic compatibility

12. Verification of electrical equipment and installation.

13. Operation of and work on electrical installations

14. First aid treatment of the electric shock.
