- Synopsis:
-
The course deals with the structural arrangement of materials and their potential transformations and failures during technological processes and/or during their operation. The course expands knowledge about experimental methods most frequently used in the study of the structural state of materials aimed at their practical application. The knowledge gained can be applied both in the study of mutual relations between the structure and properties of new materials and in investigations of the degradation and failure of materials during their operation.
