Synopsis:

The objective of the subject is mastering of basics in databases entity-relationship theory and obtaining practical skills by using database technology at the level needed for design of database, development of database applications and administration of database systems.

Basic database systems terminology. Conceptual database model design. Entity-relationship data model. Data scheme normalization and its usage in relation database design. Design of relation database from conceptual model. Data organization. SQL query language. Practical database application development by using modern development environment. Recent database technology trends.

Study Objective:
