Introduction to Social Ecology. The course includes an exploration of the subject with background of Theory, review of selected Strategies and investigation through Case Studies.

Theory - an overview of the development of social environmental / ecological relationships/. Strategies - specific applications of theory in improving / resolving the human/environmental relationships. Case Studies - discussion of selected examples from various cultural settings of the relationships between social and environmental values and inter-relationships.
