Synopsis:

Comprehension of spoken language as well as lectures in French on topics familiar to the student. Communication with native speakers, participation in discussions. Expressing opinions.

Written skills. Ability to write an essay or a report. Reading and understanding texts concerning currant issues and popular scientific and technical articles.

Grammar: irregular verbs, gerund, conditional clauses, subjonctif, passé simple, syntaxis, specifications of technical language

Conversational topics: university studies, French realia, environment, technology and technical development, French scientists, history of discoveries and inventions, presentations

Technical topics: technology, terminology of mechanical engineering, reading and analysis of technical texts
