Synopsis:

Completion of the modeling metodology from the subject Modeling and simulation, in particular the design of a new experiment, respectively additional experiment. Examples of physiological models from practice (BRS model, a model of renal function within stabilizing blood pressure, pulse model of blood circulation, model of the isometric contraction of skeletal muscle)

Requirements:

participation in exercises (max 10 points)

2 homeworks (max. 40 points)

1.Repeating the methodology of modeling of biological systems

2.Metodology of the design of an additional experiment

3.Baroreflex model

4.Model of renal function within stabilizing blood pressure

5.Pulse model of blood circulation

6.Model of the isometric contraction of skeletal muscle

7.Model of glucose regulation, regulatory model of gastric acidity

to provide students with a methodology of design and implementation of mathematical models of selected physiological systems
