Students will adopt main rules of verbal, nonverbal a para verbal (voice) communication and principles of presentation and communication strategies in English. Students will develop their own presentation skills in practical exercises. They will get feedback in a form of self-evaluation, „peer-review“ and lecturer comments. The course is aimed at intermediate and upper-intermediate level.
- Requirements:

Regular attendance and active participation in classes is required, as well as fulfilment of smaller tasks, self-reflection and giving feedback to others.
The course ends with a Final presentation and a short language test.
Students participating in internships will be excused from regular classes during the internship period, but they are required to complete all other assignments. Date and time are negotiable.

Goals of study
The aim of the subject is to foster students' presentation skills in order to enhance the persuasiveness of their presentations and their ability to communicate and present effectively, especially within their workplace and in the business area.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- deal with nervousness effectively
- express ideas, attitudes and opinions with confidence
- consciously work with their body language
- gain the audience's attention
- respond to questions adequately
