- Study Objective:

The primary aim of this course is to provide students with an interdisciplinary perspective on the development and implications of Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Students will be encouraged to think critically about the ethical, social, and environmental consequences of technology. This includes a nuanced understanding of how ICT is leveraged for control in authoritarian regimes such as China and Russia. The course aims to increase students' ability to make informed decisions in today's digitalized and interconnected world.
