Synopsis:

•Brief outline of the problems in engineering measurements and data analyses and interpretations (Errors and

Uncertainty of measurements, statistics in measurements, regression analyses etc.).

•Frequent hardware in DAQ systems – typical T, p, flow, concentration sensors

•Hardware interfaces important for mechanical engineers - RS232, GPIB, CANBus, multiplexors, ELMB modules, etc.

•Standard and widely used software products in DAQ systems - LabView, BridgeView, TestPoint, PVSS II, etc.

•Personally tailored projects are required to finish the course.
