Synopsis:

Excursions of students to selected departments of partner universities and institutes of Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS). Practical demonstrations and active participation of students on hot topics of solid state physics. Discussion of own research results and their presentation as a training for defenses of students’ theses.

•Invited lectures of researchers from our partner universities and institutes of CAS.

•Excursions to modern equipment of our partner universities and institutes of CAS.

•Presenting of new information about modern experimental approaches in solid state physics.

•Presenting of an actual scientific literature.

•Presenting of own research results as a training for defense of the thesis.

Syllabus of tutorials:

Study Objective:

Knowledge: Overview about up-to-date trends and results in particular research branches.

Skills: Abilities of presentation of own results.
