Synopsis:

Learning outcomes of the course unit The course introduces the problems of engineering metrology and the basics of process planning.

Requirements:
Syllabus of lectures:

1) Metrology, calibration, measurement uncertainty.

2) Measurement process capability and MSA measurement system analysis. Sources of variability in measurement.

3) Measurement in 1 coordinate. Municipal gauges, length gauges, 1st and 2nd order errors. Taylor's principle.

4) Measurement in 2 coordinates (measuring microscopes) and measurement in 3 coordinates (CMM)

5) Shape and position deviations. Principles of measurement and evaluation, measuring methods.

6) Surface texture, surface profile. Measuring methods.

7) Technological design, general terms, terminology

8) Analysis of component basis

9) Time tracking system

10) Labor standardization

11) Ergonomics of work

12) Lean production methods

13) Digital Enterprise, Industry 4.0

Study Objective:

The aim of the study is to acquire basic metrological principles and skills. Learning outcomes of the course unit the aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic principles and methods of process planning.
