Synopsis:

Requires basic knowledge of functional analysis, operators representing observables, time evolution and Schrödinger operators, quantum waveguides and graphs. Partial overlap with master’s lecture 02PPKT. The sylabus of the lecture can be adjusted based on the request of the students.

Requirements:

1. Spectral theory of self-adjoint operators.

2. Operator algebras and sets.

3. Postulates of quantum mechanics.

4. Basic observables of quantum systems.

5. Time evolution, path integrals, open quantum systems.

6. Schrödinger operators.

7. Scattering theory.

8. Quantum waveguides.

9. Quantum graphs.
