Synopsis:

The course extends the knowledge gained during the course Heat exchangers and boilers in the Bachelor's program, but its completion is not necessary. The basic principles of combustion of fuels in industrial furnaces and the conceptual solution of combustion plants and boilers including their auxiliary devices are discussed.

Boiler auxiliaries - fans, pumps, equipment for flue gas cleaning

Study Objective:

The basic principles of combustion of fuels in industrial furnaces and the conceptual solution of combustion plants and boilers including their auxiliary devices are discussed. The aim is to focus on the subject and to master the basic calculation tasks in combustion balances and boiler design.
