The course deals with approaches to leadership and training of employees in the context of the theory and practice of contemporary industrial enterprises.

Introduction to the subject - key concepts and relations between them

Overview of the development of approaches to leadership

Leadership styles and situational conditionality of their use

Relationship between management and leadership in theory and business practice

Functions, roles and responsibilities of managers as managers and leaders

Transactional, transformational and strategic leadership

Positive leadership and versatile leadership

Strategic approach to employee education

Concept of education and education policy in theory and practice of industrial enterprises

Horizontal and vertical integration of education of employees to business processes

Cycle and system of education of employees

The identification and development of talent and key employees in the company

Learning organization and knowledge management

Intellectual capital venture

Roles and competences of executives of industrial companies

Relationship of strategic premises, values and goals of industrial company to leadership and education of employees - presentation

Application of strategic approach to employee education

The concept of employee education and its integration into management processes

Preparation of educational project according to given methodology

Study Objective:

The aim of the course is to develop the competencies (knowledge and skills) of students in leadership / leading people and education of employees. Students will be introduced to the basic concepts and approaches to leadership and education of employees in enterprises and will be able to practice balanced use of acquired knowledge and skills.
