               Course Completion Requirements: Credit (Coursework): Attendance at a minimum of 12 out of 13 seminars (1 seminar out of the planned 14 is cancelled) Active participation in seminars: 040 points Delivery of a high-quality group presentation (a 20-minute report on a selected topic) Final Exam: Final written test: 060 points Total: 0100 points Grading Scale: 10090 points = A 9080 points = B 8070 points = C 7060 points = D 6050 points = E Less than 50 points: an oral exam is required. The oral exam may also be used to improve the final grade.

               Course Objective: The aim of the course is to introduce students to the fundamental principles of management within the context of the current needs and trends of the 21st century, to familiarize them with the basics of the discipline, and to prepare them for a career as managers in companies and institutions and/or for further study in the following years of bachelor's and master's programs. The course also aims to introduce students to: the subject and overall structure of management theory and practice, fundamental management concepts and terminology, the content, techniques, and tools of key managerial functions, the scope of specific managerial functions and sub-disciplines of management, current trends in corporate management and future outlooks. Expected Learning Outcomes: By the end of the course, students will be able to: understand the overall thematic structure and issues of modern corporate management, comprehend and apply the content and scope of the fundamental tools of key managerial functions in practice, understand the nature of specific managerial functions and sub-disciplines of management and apply them in practice, grasp the essence of key managerial trends and their impact on the future of management theory and, above all, on corporate management practice.
