Synopsis:

The methodology of measurement in the field. Methods of collecting scientific information. Structure of technical publications. Testing of basic static and dynamic properties of manufacturing machinery and equipment. Confrontation calculation tools by finite element method with the experiment. Practical exercises of special methods of technical diagnostics. Application of digital measurement systems. (For doctoral studies Production Machinery)

Requirements:

Knowledge of basic courses of study at FME, ie. The knowledge of mechanics statics, dynamics, thermo mechanics, elasticity and strength of physics.

Measurement of static rigidity of machine tools

Acoustic measurements of machine tools

Precision of machine tools 1

Precision of machine tools 2

Thermal behavior of machine tools 1

Thermal behavior of machine tools 2

Syllabus of tutorials:

Sensors and instrumentation basics

Measurement of static stiffness

Acoustics 1

Acoustics 2

Tests of machine geometry (Schlesinger, spirit levels)

Circular interpolation using the Ball Bar / Heidenhain grid

Positioning accuracy in lin. axes and diagonals

MT Check - accuracy of rotary axes

Temperature measurement of machine during operation

Measurement of thermal deformations of the machine during operation

Change the positioning accuracy as a function of temperature

Compensation of thermal deformations

Study Objective:

The aim is to acquaint students with the methods of technical diagnostics of production machines so that they have the theoretical as well as practical zanalosti experience with various methods.
