Synopsis:

The aim of the course is to create a knowledge basis for the acquirement of rules and mechanics of human behaviour. Students will learn about functions of a human psyche enables the undergraduates to apply it effectively and confidently in their professional work life. They will also learn about manager's personality and the basics of personnel management, how to motivate their employees and communicate with business partners and potential clients. The course thus promotes the development of a manager?s personality.

Requirements:
Syllabus of lectures:

1.The internal conditions of the labor process, the external conditions of work process.

2.Management and organization of the work process, manager's personality and the basics of personnel management, psychodiagnosis.

3.Social processes in the organization.

4.Engineering Psychology with a focus on the relationship of man, machine and psychological aspect of this relation.

5.Dynamics of small social groups and interaction and issues related to communication (foundations and modes of communication).

6.The stances and their development, conflicts and their solutions, research methods and techniques in the context of managerial psychology.

Syllabus of tutorials:

Study Objective:

The aim of the Managerial Psychology is to acquaint students with the knowledge of applied psychology in the workplace. Subsequent exercises are devoted to student presentations on various topics.
