Synopsis:

Introduction to landscape architecture and landscape planning, the importance of natural elements in architectural design. The composition principles and their development in the history of the art of gardens. The main problems of the natural environment of settlements. Reconstruction and protection of the landscape. Practical knowledge of landscape analysis.

Study Objective:

Leading the students of architecture into the questions of settlement and landscape relations. Importance of natural, cultural-historic and aesthetic values of the landscape. Landscape context in architecture and urban design. Methods and regulations.
