Synopsis:

The basic subject for students of bachelor's degree. The expansion of knowledge in the field of fire safety of buildings and structures and develops knowledge in the field of fire of the reliability of structures. The subject has two separate parts. In the first part is in depth dealt with the issue of fire water supply, the issue of fire protection of the electrical equipment and fire ventilation and fire ventilation of residential and civil buildings. The second, completely separate part of the course deals with fire issues of communications and buildings associated with this issue.

Syllabus of lectures:

1) Basic concepts and information about roads. The construction of the PK and fire safety legislation.

2)the Principles of designing roads, access roads - requirements. the boarding area for fire equipment.

3)the Design of roadway infrastructure. Requirements for roadway boarding areas and access roads. The requirements on the road in the tunnels.

4)Kinds of objects of road - Tunnels.

5)Danger and protection from danger when the intervention on the roads. Safety equipment on the PK.

6) Stabling and parking areas, individual, row, and bulk of the garage, fuel station, airport in terms of fire security.

7)Introduction to course, principles of designing of fire fighting water supply in buildings, familiarization with the relevant ČSN, ČSN EN.

8)the Types of fire extinguishing equipment, sprinklers, portable fire extinguishing equipment, the need for fire water.

9)Fire ventilation - the device heat dissipation and smoke. Principles, basics of designing.

10)Fire ventilation - ventilation of protected escape routes.

11)the Characteristics of the electrical equipment in the environment without the danger of fire, danger of fire or explosion of explosives.

12)Characteristic of the device fire alarm system ( EPS ), used detectors, the implementation of distribution according to CSN.

13) Professional excursion.

Syllabus of tutorials:

1) 1. The design of the access road in terms of traffic and min. the width of the.

2)1.The design of the access road - the boarding area for fire equipment.

3) 2. Design of pavements road infrastructure - the construction of the road, the requirements for the starting area.

4) 2. Design of pavements road infrastructure - requirements for road tunnels.

5) 3. Protection from danger when the intervention on the road - organized intervention, traffic calming down.

6) 3. Completion of, the final test of the first part of the course, a final comprehensive consultation.

7) 1. Enter the problem for the design of fire water supply.

8) 2. Design of portable fire extinguishing equipment.

9) 3. Design of the fire ventilation in a residential building.

10) 4.Design of fire ventilation of the garage.

11) 5.Design of the electric fire alarm of the selected object.

12) 5 Completion of tasks, consultations.

13) Final comprehensive consultation, final test.

Study Objective:

In the first half of the semester, student will be acquainted with the possible problems of the road infrastructure in terms of fire security. In the second half of the semester, the student will go through a detailed the issue of fire water supply, fire ventilation and electrical equipment from the point of view of the fire.
