Synopsis:

Introduction to mathematical control theory, mathematical modelling. Introduction to statistical learning and system modelling from data. Mathematical optimalisation, linear and dynamic programming, multi-criterial optimisation, graph problems.

Requirements:

Knowledge of algebra and calculus.

Study Objective:

Students know the elementary mathematical control theory, they are familiar with general principles of mathematical modelling and modelling from data, and they can apply this knowledge to simple ITS problems. Students know basic optimalisation methods and can apply them to practical problems.
