Synopsis:

Compendium of basic concepts and Project Management context. Methods for proceeding support. Legal rules, ČSN and ISO specifications. Basic aspects of Project Management. Construction as a product of Build- up Project. Purposes, strategies, stages and surround of Build - up Project. Status of Project Manager. Purchases and treaties in Project. Quality Management, Risk Management. Financial Management and Project Assessment. Feasibility Study. Project Management in light of time, sources and costs. Claim Management.

Territorial planning and construction code law, public procurement law, definition of terms. Commercial contractual relationships, making a contract, forms of contracts, usage of general terms and conditions utilization. Public tender and its impact on the liabilities of the participants. Securing of a liability - penalty, guarantee. Main contract types in construction - contract of the conclusion of a future contract, purchase contract, contract for work, Contents of the contract.

Requirements:

Submission of the work within the prescribed time and scope (see Moodle system).

Compulsory attendance in class, maximum 3 excused absences.

Continuous correction of work and checking during the course.

Study Objective:

Acquire detailed knowledge of project management in construction and specific methods of planning a performance from the owner and contractor point of view.

Obtaining basic orientation in contractual relations, in the building permit process, in the procurement process.
