- Synopsis:
-
The hydrological part of the course focuses on the laws governing the occurrence and circulation of water, the formation of runoff from river basins, and the measurement and processing of hydrological signals of flow and precipitation. The aim is to master basic calculation procedures and their application in water management practice. In the second half of the course, this knowledge is placed in a broader context from the perspective of climatology and meteorology of the boundary layer of the atmosphere. Attention is focused primarily on the formation of atmospheric precipitation, the radiation and energy balance of the Earth's surface, and climate evolution.
