Synopsis:

Real estate valuation is a very large field that intersects various areas such as construction, insurance, government, banking and land registry. During the lectures we will cover the basic concepts of real estate, methods of real estate valuation, for what purpose and when to use them. Market valuation - cost, comparative and income methods. Administrative valuation of real estate, valuation of easements and valuation of real estate in special cases such as loans, inheritance, community property, for insurance companies, etc.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Basic concepts in real estate valuation.

2. Basis for property valuation , purpose and use, property survey.

3. Commercial databases, creating your own database and processing.

4. Valuation of land, price map.

5. Valuation theory - market valuation - comparative valuation method.

6. Valuation theory - market valuation - cost method of valuation.

7. Valuation theory - market valuation - income method of valuation.

8. Valuation of real estate under the current valuation code - Part 1.

9. Valuation of real estate under the current valuation code - Part 2.

10. Valuation of real estate in special cases (valuation of real estate for credit management, for accounting).

11. Valuation of real estate in special cases (for inheritance proceedings, for insurance companies, division of matrimonial property, for public auction, etc.).

12. Valuation of easements and properties encumbered by easements.

13. Standards for real estate valuation in the Czech Republic and internationally.

Study Objective:

Acquire basic knowledge in the field of real estate valuation, both in market and administrative valuation.
