Synopsis:

The learning presents manufacturing technologies of aircraft, eventually space, structures applied in Czech Republic and abroad. It is supplied by practises and specialized excursions.

Syllabus of lectures:

1.State of art of manufacturing technologies of aircraft and space structures in Czech Republic and abroad.

2.Standards applicable in manufacturing of aircraft and space structures. Manufacturing, procedure and testing standards.

3.Materials for forming. Forming property. Technology of sheet and profile forming.

4.Forming of plastic and superplastic materials. Unconventional forming technologies.

5.Machining of metallic aircraft and space structures.

6.Non-destructive testing methods in aircraft manufacturing.

7.Surface treatment in manufacturing of aircraft and space structures. Resistance to environment. Chemical and electrochemical machining.

8.Joining of aircraft and space structures.

9.Manufacturing technology of propulsors 1

10.Manufacturing technology of propulsors 2

11.Reinforcements and matrices of composite materials, their specific properties related to aerospace.

12.Conventional and advanced manufacturing technologies of composite structures.

13.Assembly of aircraft and space structures. Maintenance of aircraft structures.

Study Objective:

To acquaint with manufacturing technologies of aircraft, eventually space, structures applied in Czech Republic and abroad and with their relations to design, analyses and certification of aircraft structures.
