Synopsis:

*1. Definition of photogrammetry, their importance and relationship to remote sensing, central projection, optical projection, aberration

* 2. Construction and types of lenses, distortion and its compensation, photographic material, CCD and CMOS

* 3. Coordinate systems, coordinate transformations, spatial rotation matrices

* 4. Photogrammetric series for x, photogrammetric series for y, internal orientation elements (IOE)

* 5. Accuracy and determination of IOE, DLT, calibration of digital cameras, types, procedures

* 6. Terrestrial photogrammetry, single-image method, projective transformation (2D-2D), influence of depth distribution

*7. Terrestrial stereophotogrammetry, base, accuracy, minimum and maximum base selection, metric and non-metric cameras

*8. Intersection method, historical use, present procedures, stereoscopic vision and its testing

*9. Normal case of stereofotogrammetry, accuracy, formulas, inference, photogrammetric imaging equipment

*10. Aerial photogrammetry, methods, single-photo aerial photogrammetry, terrain influence of height differences

*11. Processing by single image method, photo-plan, photo-mosaics, photogrammetry equipment, carriers, advantages and use

*12. External orientation for aerial photogrammetry, complex solution, bundle adjustment, orthophoto

*13. Methods of digital photogrammetry, aerialand terrestrial laser scanning

Syllabus of lectures:

Introduction to photogrammetry. Analogue, analytic and digital solutions in photogrammetry. Internal and external orientation of photos, elements of orientation. Single image terrestrial photogrammetry, itersection and stereophotogrammetry. Survey metric cameras, methods of interpreting of photos, aerial photogrammetry, aerial laser scanning.

Study Objective:

Students will be able to use digital and analytic methods namely in terrestrial photogrammetry, introduction to aerial photogrammetry aerial and terrestrial laser scanning.
