Synopsis:

Familiarization of students with most important aspects of space industry: ESA, Theoretical background of space flights, space mechanics, Gravity field and Earth atmosphere, today´s technology, historical background, satellites, space projects, specifics of space projects.

Requirements:

Mechanics I Alfa, Mechanics II Alfa, Mechanics III Alfa, Termomechanics Alfa, Fluid Mechanics Alfa

1) Status and goals of ESA in Europe

2) Membership ČR in ESA

3) Satellite system and subsystems

4) Technology used in space industry

5) Cosmic projects management

6) Satellite assembly,

7) Final product testing

8) Satellite transport to orbits

9) Space flights control

10) Manned spaceflights specifications,

11) Space research projects

12) Earth long range observing

13) Space technology used for air traffic control
